What it is

Decontracting massage is a common Spanish term for firmer manual work on overloaded areas. We adapt pressure to your feedback and goal without claiming to medically treat a contracture.

Who it suits

For familiar stiffness after training, desk work, travel or hours of repeated movement.

How it works

We begin with a short conversation, choose priority areas and increase depth gradually. You can ask for more or less pressure at any time.

Safety

Recent injury, marked swelling, numbness, weakness or acute pain require medical assessment before massage.

Choosing a duration

55 minutes works well for one main area or a focused goal. 85 minutes leaves more time for the back, legs and connected areas, making it a useful first visit. Choose 115 minutes for several areas without rushing. Pricing depends only on time: €70, €110 or €150.

Before and after your session

No special preparation is needed. If possible, avoid a heavy meal immediately beforehand and arrive a few minutes early. Afterwards, follow how you feel, hydrate as usual and avoid scheduling an all-out workout that day if your body would benefit from a calmer pace.

Therapist and feedback

Alexander focuses on sport, Deep Tissue and recovery; Vakha combines a medical foundation with Deep Tissue and relaxing work. Choose a therapist or simply a convenient time. During the session, ask to change pressure, pace, position or focus area at any point — communication is part of professional care.

How to judge the result

We assess the result against your goal: whether movement feels easier, familiar overload is reduced, or you were able to relax. Responses vary, so we do not promise a specific medical outcome or sell a compulsory course. Any future visit frequency is discussed around how you feel and your real training or work load.

Your first visit in Poblenou

The studio is inside Espai Roure at Carrer de Pere IV, 91, close to Llacuna metro. Arrive a few minutes early. If you are unsure which technique to choose, book by time: we will agree the approach, focus areas and pressure before the session.

Deep does not mean maximum pain.

You do not have to choose perfectly.

Choose a time; we will discuss your goal and preferred intensity before we begin.
