What it is
Deep Tissue uses a deeper sense of pressure and a slower pace. The goal is a comfortable change in tension, not a fight with the body.
Who it suits
For people who prefer a noticeable massage, train often, sit for long periods or feel localised overload.
How it works
We begin with a short conversation, build depth gradually and adjust it to your feedback. You can ask for more or less pressure at any time.
Safety
Deep work is not used over a recent injury, acute inflammation, fever or severe unexplained pain.
Deep does not mean maximum pain
Quality comes from precision, pace and your response—not force alone. Noticeable intensity can be normal; sharp pain, numbness or needing to hold your breath means the pressure should be reduced.
Afterwards and choosing a format
Brief sensitivity similar to post-training soreness can occur; strong or increasing pain is not the goal. Choose Deep Tissue for slow, deeper work, sports massage when training context matters, and relaxing massage when switching off is the priority.
Questions before booking
Does Deep Tissue have to hurt?
No. Pressure builds gradually and is adjusted to your feedback. Sharp pain, numbness or holding your breath are reasons to reduce pressure.
Does it break up knots or adhesions?
A feeling of tightness is not proof of an adhesion. We do not promise to break tissue or permanently reshape fascia. The aim is a useful, comfortable change in how you feel and move.
Is it suitable for desk work and training?
It can be chosen for familiar muscular tension after sitting or exercise. Sports massage is another option when your training schedule is the main focus.
Can I ask Alexander to use less pressure?
Yes, at any point. Tell him the areas you want to focus on and what feels comfortable. Depth is adapted to you, not a fixed intensity.
What does a session cost?
55 minutes is €70, 85 minutes €110 and 115 minutes €150. The studio is at Carrer de Pere IV, 91, Poblenou, Barcelona.
You do not have to choose perfectly.
Choose a time; we will discuss your goal and preferred intensity before we begin.
